I love the maxi skirt/dress trend. 

its so convenient for my long pale legs.

Its perfect for work, when its a million degrees and i still want to look professional, but still feel a breeze.

the one downfall to them though is my bad habit of stepping on the hem every time i go to stand up, therefore "shanking" myself.

how embarrassing! Oh well.. ill be more careful in the future!  (hah)

what i wore: Sunny Sunday

As i have begun to document outfits here, i have realized how "low budget" my wardrobe is.

This is definitely not a bad thing, or a good thing, i guess i just realize when i write out where all my clothes are from that they are usually $20 and under finds.  I have several key, nice pieces.. but really most of my other stuff is from budget friendly shops.   I love a good bargain, and love love love.. making it look like it came from somewhere fancy.  I appreciate a good, nice expensive find (always) but i also know how my style constantly changes... and cant justify spending much on 'trendy' pieces, strictly staples.  For work i cant wear color, only blacks, grays, brown, whites... etc.  So when it comes to nice clothes that are work-friendly i am definitely more okay with investing in them, slowly but surely i will build up my wardrobe... but i have a feeling i'll never be satisfied. :)

What i wore: Rainy Sunday

Today really is just a cold, rainy, slightly miserable kind of day.  its progressively getting colder and colder as the time moves on and i would've stayed in my pajama's all day long, but i had a brunch date with my friendsie :)

We tried a cafe we've been dying to go to forever. ( i mean any place known for their red-velvet pancakes sounds pretty amazing to me )

really... quite possible the best breakfast ive ever had. 

Somehow sundays always turn into shopping days, and end up at loca lime for $1 tacos.

So, when thinking of the types of blogs i like looking at... the pictures i enjoy oogling over for hours...etc. i always come back to style, & fashion.  

I, in no way shape or form am a "style blogger" (heck i have no idea what kind of blogger i am) but style is  what i enjoy to look at.. and i love getting dressed, so why not right?  Inspired by a convo with mary ellen  last weekend... im jumping on board.. and on occasion i think ill post an outfit or two.  What do you think?
