motivation monday.

Today, was a day i built up for motivation.

Sunday was my head start, started the laundry, started the cleaning.

But my husband is sick. He's in bed, so that kind of messes up my plans to spring clean my bedroom. (my excuse) And the sun is hiding, and so is my motivation. Where did that luster of sunshiny sunday go? And why didn't it last til monday?

I want sunshine, bicycle rides, warmth, and a slice of motivation.

Monday

Happy Monday!

Last week was such a good, and eventful week.

Lots of hanging out, and spontaneous girls nights, and birthday parties galore!

I still find it so excited that i can do things on "school nights" Its taken me a while to realize that being grown up, and out of your parents house has lots of cool perks like that.

(And i've been out of my parents house for years now..)

Luke & I often have moments, when we are out of town, or going somewhere random where we talk about how crazy it is that our parents have no idea where we are or what we are doing...

(If you cant tell, i obviously was pretty sheltered and watched over growing up)

ahaha

Anyways, my point to all this rambling is... that just because its Monday, doesn't mean the fun stops on the weekend!!! It can go on throughout the week!

This morning, Mary Ellen & I went to Ikea, shopped around, and got lunch.

i love that place. the smell of cinnamon rolls is so comforting.

So i got the lamp i was wanting... and put it together all by myself.

I really love it... and pleased with this little nook now.

I know you all are probably getting really tired of seeing photos of my living room.. but, i don't really have anything else to take pictures of right now..

so.

oh well.

Being lazy for a bit, before i get some work done. Have a couple of haircuts to do before tonight. Then i'm hoping for a movie night with husband. It's been a while.

Back to the Grind.

First day back to work all week. Gosh, i loved that snow.

i miss makin pancakes and breakfast every morning.

I miss coffee times with my man.

I miss grilled cheese and soup for lunches almost every day.

oh well, it is almost the weekend right?

Its snow day #2, ive been at home, in my house for 3 days straight, ( starting to get a little antsy.) All i really want to do is online shop and redecorate. But instead im redecorating online.. making up fantasy rooms.

Finding dream things, that will never be in my home is kind of fun and exciting! Also, searching for the perfect furniture. After 16 months of living in our home, with donated furniture, Luke and I are on a quest for living room seating, its our goal for 2011. Craigslist is awesome today, but craigslist stresses me out. Its like thrifting, if you find the perfect find, you have to get it then, there's no coming back!

Anyways, here's a little inspiration board of some things i've got my eye on.

(also, i just noticed my floor lamp is sitting on the coffee table. Oh well.)

2010 was a good year.
